
Kelly McCormick is an American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist with her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She is a member of Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA), and ISHA’s School Affairs committee.
Kelly completed her International Multisensory Language Education Council (IMSLEC) Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Interventionist certification while completing coursework and practicums at the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Metropolitan Chicago. She is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP), and holds a Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI) certification.
As continuing education is important to her, Kelly was honored to supervise practicums and instruct a university dyslexia program.
Kelly is an International Dyslexia Association provider. She has engaged in high quality program trainings including: Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE), Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS), Sound Reading System, SPELL-Links and Wilson Reading System.
